NGAYONG NAGKAKAGULO ANG PHILHEALTH, WHY IS RISA HONTIVEROS DIMINISHING HER WORK WITH IT?

Lahat ng dapat managot sa Philhealth, ay mananagot. Don’t worry, Yellows, unlike you, we would gladly give up the heads of whoever from the Duterte administration if they are proven to be guilty. PAKI NAMIN SA KANILA. Unlike you, who are so ignorant as to assume that corruption started this pandemic LOL, we know that Philhealth has been a hotbed of corruption, so we don’t feel guilty about the things unraveling now.

But Risa Hontiveros is a Senator, and was a Philheath trustee for two years, from Dec 2014 to 2015. Sinalpak just before election time.

Her trolls are now saying that no Philhealth money was used in all the ads that we are calling her out for. That it was paid for by her friends.

So her friends paid for ads for Philhealth?You mean, these ads?

Ang sweet naman ng friends nya paying for a government institution? Talaga?

So if she was just a trustee, and now na nagka kagulo na, bakit ginawa nyang platform itong Philhealth at sya ang star ng mga video commercials?

So ano ang point na sya ang star ng TV and bus ads kung hindi naman pala malaki ang role nya sa Philhealth.

Here, in the bus advertisement, she’s very blatantly credited as PHILHEALTH DIRECTOR.

Ano lang pala ang ginawa ni Risa Hontiveros sa Philhealth? You make up your minds. We will not back down.

Let ALL heads roll. Nobody should be able to get away with stealing from HEALTH funds from people who need it most. NOT MORALES, NOT DUQUE, AND NOT A SENATOR OF THE REPUBLIC IF THEY ARE PROVEN COMPLICIT TO THE HEARTLESS PLUNDER OF OUR FUNDS.

Not even Duterte, if he allowed this to happen. Unlike you, we are not protecting anyone.

You cannot bully anyone into silence here. This is a long time coming and everybody, as in everybody, who have been complicit should pay.

Do not pretend that we are only after Risa here. We want everybody to be accountable. Ang masama Lang kay Risa is she cannot decide if her role in Philhealth was so small that she didn’t know what happened, or so big that she had to star in those ads.

Philhealth doesn’t need to put out TV ads starring its Philhealth chairmen—but when Risa Hontiveros was going to run for Senator, her ads were always running on TV, across multiple channels.

Back then the cost to run the ad was about P440,000 (no tax yet, just basic cost) per 30 seconds. (PER 30 seconds.) How many times did the PHILHEALTH ad. come out?

Former Senator Ernesto Herrera once warned that the public health fund was losing money for advertising during Risa’s imminent run for Senate in 2016, as Philhealth was spending for her information campaign. KAILANGAN NGA NAMAN, Risa ran and lost in 2013. (I think she also lost in 2010. She badly needed the Philhealth platform.)

One of the many ways the previous administration “legalized” it's spending for elections using our own money.

As if kailangan ni Philhealth mag ad, at kailangan si Risa Hontiveros pa talaga, during the times she was running for Senate. Kaya pala ang hilig nyo magparatang na propagandist si Duterte, kasi kayo mismo GOVERNMENT FUNDS ginagamit nyo.

You’re not some social justice warrior, Risa, you’re just paying off your utang na loob to the administration that finally gave you your much desired Senate seat.

ANTI HOSPITAL DEPOSIT LAW? EPAL NA NAMAN SI HONTIVEROS

While I am happy that the Anti-Hospital Deposit Law was enacted into law, I find it utterly ironic that Senator Risa Hontiveros, of all people, is its author.

Hontiveros was a director and a board member of the state company Philhealth, the same company that's supposed to provide universal health coverage.

During her Philhealth stint, Hontiveros turned a blind eye on the P1.7 billion in illegal bonuses Philhealth issued in 2013 when she was still a board member.

"It has never been reported that she has exerted any effort for the return of the illegal bonuses. Nobody knows if she had even opposed the unauthorized bonuses, or had just simply gone along with those who allowed it," said Atty. Jesus Santos, founding chair of the National Association of Lawyers for Justice and Peace [Hontiveros dared to return P1.76b in PhilHealth bonuses].

Hontiveros also used Philhealth funds to pay for ads that show her face, a typical "technique" used by traditional politicians desperate to boost name recall in time for the election season.

Hontiveros participated in Philhealth's corruption, despite Philhealth's chronically delayed reimbursements to hospitals, so delayed that some hospitals even had to delay salary payments to their doctors just to make ends meet.

If you were really serious about promoting universal healthcare, you would not have spent millions of Philhealth's funds on self-promotion. You would have looked into the P1.7 billion Philhealth Bonus Scam.

But you didn't.

Sabi mo noon, "You didn't ask (to be featured in the ads)," pero pumayag ka rin naman [In recent weeks, Hontiveros has been mainly featured by PhilHealth infomercials, both in billboard advertisements, and more recently in television commercials. This has led some critics to accuse Hontiveros of using her position as PhilHealth Health Care Providers' Sector board member in advancing her political ambition, as she is perceived to be running in the 2016 polls.].

Ang dating kasi sakin ng pagkaka-author ni Risa dito, parang, "OK ayoko hayaan ang Philhealth na magbigay ng pera, so mga ospital na lang ang iipitin ko para sikat pa rin ako sa masa."

Mabuti na lang, naglabas na sa wakas ng pera ang Administrasyong Duterte kaya may pandagdag na sa pambayad sa mga ospital. Pero kung itinuloy lang ang iniwanan mo sa Philhealth, paano na kaya?
